OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH SERVICE
OHS = EPC
Occupational Health Service = formerly Enterprise Preventive Care
Every employer in the Czech Republic must sign a contract with a provider of Occupational Health Services.
Occupational health services are primarily defined by Act No. 373/2011, on specific healthcare services, and subsequently by a decree on occupational health services and some types of assessment care (No. 79/2013)
The goal of Occupational Health Service is protection of employee health.
The legislatively defined scope of OHS serves to achieve this goal by preventing work injuries and incidence of occupational illnesses, and creating optimum work conditions.
